The Hare and Hounds
A 16th Century Country Pub

The Inglenook Fire Bar

In the Heart of 1066 Country

During the Summer months the fire houses a large display of plants.

The Hare and Hounds is a 16th Century Country Pub and Restaurant set in three acres of grassland and situated in the small  Sussex hamlet of Rye Foreign, two miles north of Rye on the A268.

The Pub is conveniently located for easy access to the historic towns of Rye, Battle, Tenterden and Winchelsea. The  seaside town of Hastings is a short distance away.

The large traditional Inglenook fire is used throughout the winter months and provides the warmth and atmosphere of a country pub.
